Zelensky: Ukraine would have lasted only the first weeks without Western help
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky answered how long Ukraine could have survived if it had not received help from the West. The head of the Kyiv regime spoke about this in an interview with the British television channel Channel 4 News.
According to Zelensky, without the support of “partners,” Ukraine could resist Russia only in the first days, weeks, perhaps months after the start of Russia’s special operation. But for almost two years that the military conflict lasted, it definitely would not have lasted.
If Ukraine did not receive supplies from the world, it would have suffered much more losses, Zelensky said.
He noted that a lot of help has been received from the United States, although they can help more. Then, according to Zelensky, Ukraine will not only stand on its feet, but will win.
Earlier, member of the US House of Representatives Marjorie Taylor Greene said that Zelensky on the sidelines of the forum in Davos asked for peace negotiations, but the US authorities do not agree to this.
The politician noted that it is already possible to talk about the involvement of the United States in the conflict in Ukraine, as evidenced by attempts to allocate new tranches of assistance to the Kyiv regime. Greene called for an end to support for Kyiv, which, in her opinion, would push it towards negotiations with Russia.
