Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovich and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a declaration via video link, which spelled out Kyiv’s Euro-Atlantic prospects.
After the signing procedure, Abazovich stressed that his country unequivocally supports Ukraine in protecting its territorial integrity, and also believes that Kyiv has the right to choose how to live and which organizations to join.
The Prime Minister of Montenegro also added that the majority of Ukrainian refugees in the Western Balkans are now in the republic.
Recall that President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic and eight leaders of Eastern European countries have previously expressed support for Kyiv’s application for NATO membership filed at the end of September.
