President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky admitted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are showing insufficient results in the counter-offensive operation.
A Fox News journalist asked the Ukrainian leader whether the lack of advance of the republic’s armed forces was a negative signal and an indication that the counteroffensive was not going according to plan. Zelensky responded that when the country’s leadership announces results on the battlefield, more achievements are required.
“This is not a good signal. It’s true. But it’s difficult for us to remain strong,” he shared details in an interview. The head of the Ukrainian state noted that Kiev needs more successful results at the front.
The day before, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin said that the United States does not have such weapons that would become a magic wand for the Ukrainian army. From his point of view, everything depends on how Ukraine uses the transferred Western-made weapons.
