66% of Russian citizens radically changed their jobs and left for another area, according to a survey by the Zarplaty.ru research center and the Skypro online university. Most of the employees quit due to low wages. For this reason, 70% of the Russians surveyed changed their jobs.
A survey among nearly 2,000 Russians showed that 52% of employees changed jobs more than three times in their lives, 26% changed jobs once or twice. Another 22% were replaced by three companies.
The most common reason for dismissal is low pay. 51% of respondents changed jobs due to a lack of prospects, and 40% due to an irregular schedule. 30% of Russians decide to leave their place of work due to high workload and a large number of tasks. 19% each are those who changed jobs due to antipathy towards the company or toxic management.
At the same time, 62% of Russians believe that self-development and a job change are necessary even if everything suits them in their current position. 23% of respondents noted the importance of growth in any position in the company. Salary as a fundamental factor of motivation is perceived by 18% of Russians.
According to Rosstat, the unemployment rate in Russia in January made up 3.6%, hitting an all-time low. In December 2022, this figure was 3.7%. In 2022, the number of unemployed citizens in Russia decreased by 445 thousand people, or by 13.8%.
