Zaporozhye region denied reports of mobilization in the region

The information that the residents of the Zaporozhye region began to receive subpoenas to the military registration and enlistment offices is disinformation spread by “Kyiv propaganda”, Acting Governor of the region Yevhen Balitsky said on his Telegram channel.

“Once again, I want to emphasize: there is no mobilization in the Zaporozhye region, no agendas can be sent to the residents of the region. The federal constitutional law on the admission of the Zaporozhye region to the Russian Federation clearly regulates this issue, wrote Balitsky.

At the same time, the official emphasized that those who wish to participate in the special operation can join the Sudoplatov volunteer battalion. He urged the subpoenas to “boldly throw in the trash” and inform law enforcement officers about their distributors.

Balitsky also called information about the abandonment of the city of Pologi by the Russian army and the preparation of an evacuation from Vasilyevka as rumors. “This is a deliberate lie, the purpose of which is to sow panic. in fact, our defenders hold the lines, stop any attempts to break through the defenses and are ready to launch an attack at any moment, as soon as such an order is received, ”said the head of the region.

The authorities of the Zaporozhye region on December 2 already refuted information that the Ukrainian armed forces allegedly captured the city of Pologi and that there is no water and electricity in the region. In the middle of November, Balitsky spokethat there are no reasons for the evacuation of people from the Zaporozhye region.

Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. During the special operation, Russian troops took control of the LPR, as well as most of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Subsequently, these territories became part of Russia, and on October 19 martial law was introduced in the regions.
