In the zone of a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine, there are dogs in the ranks of the Russian army that assist in the disposal of explosives. About it URA.RU said the general director of the Great Moscow State Circus on Vernadsky Avenue and People’s Artist of Russia Edgard Zapashny.
“If our animals are at the front and work, then only to save people. These are service dogs, sapper dogs that help find explosives. They are everywhere next to a person, ”said the famous trainer.
He stressed that dogs in a special operation are not used as “anti-tank”, as was the case during the Great Patriotic War, when an explosive charge was tied to a trained animal.
Zapashny also noted that the Russian army also saves animals. He cited the rescue of the Mariupol and Donetsk zoos as an example.
