Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny held telephone conversations with Mark Milley, Chairman of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces.
During the dialogue, the interlocutors discussed the prospects for a diplomatic settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine will not accept any negotiations and agreements between Kyiv and Moscow as long as Russian troops remain in the occupied territories,” the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
Today in Ankara, talks were held between the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, and the head of the CIA, William Burns. The American side reported that the topic of nuclear weapons was discussed, while the topic of Ukraine was “not touched upon”, but this version is hard to believe. The talks were held, by the way, on the initiative of the Ukrainian side.
The Russian authorities have repeatedly stated that all the goals of the special operation in Ukraine will be achieved.
