Rada Deputy Shevchenko: Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny agreed to leave as ambassador to the UK
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny agreed to leave as ambassador to the UK. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Yevgeny Shevchenko.
According to the people’s deputy, the commander-in-chief may be dismissed in the coming days.
Shevchenko added that Zaluzhny will most likely go there, but will not return back, since there is such a tradition in Ukraine.
“This is a political pension, no one ever came back,” Shevchenko concluded.
Earlier it became known that in Kyiv began to prepare for possible clashes after the removal of Zaluzhny. Roadblocks have appeared on the streets to catch supposedly Russian saboteurs.
