Zakharova spoke about point contacts between Russia and the United States

Russia and the United States continue to have pinpoint contact in areas where it matters most. This was announced by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova on the air of Soloviev Live.
“I will say what we have always said that we have, let’s call it “pinpoint contacts”, with the United States of America on those issues that necessitate their conduct,” she said.
According to her, Moscow is open to any mutually beneficial dialogues.
She also noted that, despite the preservation of contacts between departments and structures, this has nothing to do with the concept of full-fledged relations. The United States is aware of the Kremlin’s position, Zakharova added.
In addition, she stated that Washington does not show any desire to cooperate on the exchange of prisoners.
