Zakharova ridiculed Tracy’s statement about the absence of US disagreements with the people of Russia

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova recalled that the United States sponsors Ukraine and pumps it with weapons, which are subsequently used to kill the Russian people. Thus, in his Telegram channel Zakharov commented the words of US Ambassador to Russia Lynn Tracy about the absence of disagreements between Washington and the people of Russia.

“The people of Russia are being killed on a tip from the United States, with United States money, with United States weapons, at the hands of a regime brought to power by the United States in a coup d’état orchestrated by the United States,” she said.

Previously, Tracy in an interview with Kommersant newspaper informedthat despite disagreements with the Russian government, the United States has no disagreements with its people. “Whatever differences we, the United States, have with the Russian government, these are not differences with the people of Russia,” she said.

April 20 Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov declaredthat Moscow currently has no special relationship with Washington. He pointed out that “the Americans have declared a crusade against the Russian Federation, against its legitimate interests, against Russian culture, against Russian traditions.” As the minister noted, the United States assigned the role of “combat tip” to the Kyiv regime, “pumping it with more and more new weapons systems.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin also indicated on a deep crisis in relations between Russia and the United States. The President drew attention to the fact that the use of such tools by the United States as support for color revolutions led to the Ukrainian crisis and the degradation of Russian-American relations. “Support in this regard for the coup in Kyiv in 2014 ultimately led to the current Ukrainian crisis and additionally contributed to the degradation of Russian-American relations,” Putin added.
