Zakharova named the conditions for sustainable peace in Ukraine

France Press published a statement by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, who named the conditions for lasting peace with Ukraine.
According to the Russian diplomat, Moscow believes that this requires that the West stop sending weapons to Ukraine and that Kyiv accepts “new territorial realities.”
She also emphasized that Russia is open to negotiations, but at the moment there is no political will in Kyiv and Western countries to conduct them.
Zakharova noted that Kyiv wants Russia to capitulate and added that under such conditions Moscow will not talk to anyone from the Ukrainian leadership. She also repeated that Russia will not allow the existence on its borders of a state from whose territory a threat comes.
