Zakharova: IAEA is silent on the danger of depleted uranium shells

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi is silent about the problem of depleted uranium shells. This was stated by official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova during a briefing.
As Zakharova admitted, Grossi “simply doesn’t say enough” when answering questions about the use of such projectiles, which is absolutely unacceptable. The diplomat emphasized that depleted uranium as a heavy metal poses an extreme danger to humans and the environment.
Previously “MK” wrotethat the head of the “We are together with Russia” movement, Vladimir Rogov, suggested that Rafael Grossi hang a depleted uranium pendant around his neck.
