Zakharova called Borrell’s words about Russia’s attempt to plant countries on its grain a farce

According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, accusations by European diplomat Josep Borrell that Moscow is allegedly trying to make developing countries dependent on cheap Russian grain are nothing more than a farce.
Zakharova pointed to the groundlessness of the accusations, asking rhetorical questions: “Is hunger already defeated? Are there any problems with food security?” She also denounced the double standards with which Western countries are addressing issues of hunger and food aid.
Zakharova recalled that earlier European diplomats urged urgently to feed the hungry, and when they didn’t feed anyone except themselves, they began to shout that Russian grain was superfluous on the market.
