“The silence of the Western regimes … in connection with the assassination attempt on the founder of the Tsargrad TV channel, Konstantin Malofeev, will mean their tacit involvement in supporting such crimes, as well as the ideological supervision of the extremist actions of the Kiev bandits,” she wrote.

At the same time, Zakharova drew attention to the “hyperactivity” inherent in Western countries when it comes to the harassment of journalists.

According to the department, the organizer of the crime is one of the leaders of the so-called “Russian Volunteer Corps” (participates in hostilities against Russian troops on the side of Ukraine) Denis Kapustin (known under the pseudonym Nikitin).
