Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on UEFA’s decision not to include the Russian national football team in the draw for the 2024/24 Nations League season, said that this is evidence of the desire of European sports officials to destroy this sport in our country.
She added that Russia stands for the development of international sports cooperation on the basis of equality and non-discrimination.
Zakharova emphasized that Russia intends, despite external pressure, to organize and take part in major sporting competitions on its territory.
