Zakhar Prilepin went to the special operation zone

Zakhar Prilepil, co-chairman of the Just Russia for Truth faction, volunteered for the zone of a special military operation, party chairman Sergei Mironov said.

He will join the ranks of the members of our party, who, at the call of their hearts, carry out tasks in the zone of a special military operation. The chairman of the faction noted that a total of 70 party leaders of various levels signed up as volunteers. Mironov recalled that Prilepin has combat experience in the riot police. Since 2014, the co-chairman of the party has participated in hostilities as part of the DPR units, and has also delivered humanitarian aid to civilians in Donbass. It is reported that now Prilepin will serve in the divisions of the Russian Guard.

Mironov also noted that Prilepin became the third member of the presidium of the central council of the Just Russia – for Truth party who went to the special operation zone. Ruslan Tatarinov, head of the apparatus of the party faction in the State Duma, and Alexander Dvorkin, secretary of the presidium for patriotic education, are now participating in the SVO.

Prilepin is a writer and public and political figure. Fall 2019 created social movement “For Truth”. Since 2020, he has become the chairman of the party of the same name. Since 2021, he has been co-chairman of the Just Russia for Truth faction. His works include Abode, Black Monkey, Militia Romance, Seven Lives, etc.
