Austin called America the most powerful country in the world that is able to honor all its obligations. Meanwhile, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is on a tour of countries in the region. Its main goal is to prevent the conflict from escalating. Kommersant FM political commentator Dmitry Drize believes that the United States intends to regain influence in the Middle East.

There will be others. Here we see the Ukrainian experience – primarily in demonstrating support. This is the first time this has happened in the history of the Jewish state, and it is important to emphasize this. However, such terrible events have never happened either.

As for specific statements, Austin noted that America intends to help both Ukraine and Israel. There are enough resources for this. As is known, two aircraft carrier groups are already in close proximity to the conflict zone.

Great Britain also announced the sending of its military to the Eastern Mediterranean. It is already generally accepted that this is a signal to the so-called third party not to interfere. First of all, we are talking, of course, about Iran and its ally Hezbollah, which is based in Lebanon and in some places in Syria.

Meanwhile, Blinken is on a tour of Arab countries. The goal is also clear: to prevent the conflict from escalating. Washington is clearly hinting that it plans to play a major role in solving the problem. Moreover, one can assume that he is going to act not only through persuasion, but, if necessary, he will not stand on ceremony. At least this is how one can understand the White House’s tactics.

President Joe Biden asked not to try to test his strength. Yes, this hasn’t happened for a long time. Apparently, this is now the most discussed topic in the camp of opponents: is the collective West capable of seriously moving from words to deeds or not. The answer is actually very simple: if you don’t give a reason, then there’s nothing to fear. Otherwise, the consequences may be disastrous, so it’s better not to take risks.

Be that as it may, a peaceful scenario is clearly not visible now. Negotiations, if they are needed, of course, are possible only after the end of Israel’s military operation in the Gaza Strip. The task of international mediators is to prevent the escalation of hostilities, as mentioned above. Compromises are possible, but small.

Speaking in general, we have to repeat ourselves again: the architecture of global security that emerged after the Second World War has now definitely been completely destroyed. If you have enough intelligence and strength to create a new one and prevent an irreversible scenario, that’s good. No means no. There is also a serious split between the relatively rich and the poor, the North and the South. It doesn’t matter what you call it.

But you can also pay attention to the fact that the forces of evil have accumulated a serious material and technical base and are clearly planning to bring their plans to life. Who is to blame for all this? It’s too late to talk about this. We relaxed, and this is a negative consequence of a well-fed and calm life. You need to keep yourself in good shape, nothing else.
