The meeting between Grigory Yavlinsky and Vladimir Putin was first reported by Kommersant correspondent Andrei Kolesnikov on October 26. He said that Yavlinsky arrived in the Kremlin late in the evening of October 25 after the president’s meeting with leaders of religious associations. Later, the Yabloko press service reported that the military operation in Ukraine and the state of the Russian economy were discussed at the meeting. Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on the information about the meeting.
