Thus, Putin noted that attempts to create a unipolar world have acquired “ugly outlines.” In addition, the Russian president touched upon issues related to the Ukrainian crisis, praising the “balanced position” of the PRC.
The leaders also spoke about the development of trade and economic cooperation. According to Putin, by the end of 2022, trade between Russia and China is expected to hit a record high and reach $200 billion.
