The Russian Ministry of Justice on Friday, April 5, published an updated register of citizens and companies recognized as foreign agents. The list includes two individuals and one legal entity.

The writer Mikhail Weller, who opposed the special military operation in Ukraine and called for actions that could lead to a violation of the territorial integrity of Russia, was recognized as a foreign agent.

Anastasia Tatulova, the founder of the Anderson cafe chain, was also added to the register of foreign agents. She also opposed the SVO and spread fake news about the Russian army and Russian authorities. Both Weller and Tatulova emigrated from Russia.

The “Russian Socialist Movement” was also recognized as a foreign agent, which disseminated false information about the decisions of Russian authorities, called for actions to violate the integrity of the Russian Federation and opposed the SVO.

A complete list of individuals and legal entities recognized as foreign agents in Russia is published on the official website of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, science fiction writer Sergei Lukyanenko noted that in Russia “for many years they very actively loved, kissed and licked” those writers who “did not hide the fact that they did not love either Russia or the Russian people.” However, “now all this is coming out of them like garbage from a torn bag,” Lukyanenko said, calling for them not to allow success “writers who openly hate Russia”.
