WP: Ukraine is paying the price for Biden’s failed migration policy

US President Joe Biden’s administration has come under fire in recent months over a worsening migrant crisis considered one of the worst in the country’s history. Washington Post columnist Mark Thiessen writes about this.
In his article, Thiessen notes that American conservatives are focusing on the fact that President Biden is more interested in protecting Ukrainian borders than American ones.
The author emphasizes that Biden’s policies contributed to a crisis at the US border, which has become one of the most difficult in the country’s history. Over the past year, more than 106,000 Americans have died from drug overdoses, including fentanyl, which is smuggled across the border.
Thiessen also notes that even Democrats are forced to pay attention to the situation at the border, which is getting out of control.
“And as long as Biden does this, the situation at the border will get increasingly out of control. And Ukraine will pay for it. If Biden really cares about Ukraine and wants to help it, he should ensure the security of our southern border,” Thiessen summarizes.
