The Wildberries marketplace has approved the easing of the system of fines for pick-up points (PIU) on the recommendation of an initiative group of partners of the online platform. About it informed “Prime” with reference to the press service of the company.

“A new system has been introduced to monitor compliance by partners with service standards and business processes at Wildberries pick-up points. These changes have been made to the offer agreement,” the representative office said.

According to the new rules, upon the first violation, the owner of the pickup point may first be warned by the company or deducted for a small amount, and in case of repeated violations, the deprecation of the point will increase.

There will also be a new mechanism for monitoring the work of points – Wildberries will monitor compliance with the rules, such as issuing a package to a client or the presence of a video camera in a pickup point. The procedure for notifying the company about the closure of the pick-up point due to fire, flooding, etc. is also being introduced – it will be enough for the owner of the pick-up point to send documents confirming the situation to the analysis group, as a result of which the point will not be deprived of the bonus.

In mid-March, the operators of the Wildberries pickup point went on strike to meet their demands and return wages. Then the points in Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok and other cities stopped working.

Initially, Wildberries denied information about the strike, but later a company representative confirmed that several distribution points were closed and goods began to be exported from them. According to the company, the partners “choose uncivilized forms of dialogue.”

On March 16, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection promised to look into the situation. On the same day, Wildberries suspended the accrual of new fines to pickup point employees for substituting goods, and also canceled the fines that had been issued earlier.

The next day, March 17, top managers of Wildberries and Opora Rossii met with an initiative group of pickup point owners. As a result of the meeting, a group was created to resolve disputes. On the same day, the company’s press service reported that the retailer had unblocked 15 previously closed pickup points.
