Wildberries eased fines for pickup points

Wildberries approved the new proposals of the initiative group of partners. The parties, according to the press service of the company, have agreed on a new system for monitoring compliance with service standards and business processes, as well as on mitigating fines for pick-up points (POIs). The changes relate to disputes between Wildberries and partners, which led to strikes in March.
What has changed in cooperation:
- at the first violation, the entrepreneur may first be warned or de-bonded for a small amount;
- in case of repeated violations, the deprecation of the PVZ is carried out according to the grading system (with each subsequent violation, the amount of the penalty increases);
- a new mechanism is introduced to monitor compliance with standards for a number of common violations, such as non-issuance of packages or the absence of a video camera;
- a new procedure for notifications about the closure of a pickup point due to force majeure has been agreed, in which case the item will not be deprecated;
- the mechanism for contesting liability for damage to goods by partners is being finalized: entrepreneurs will again be able to mark goods as defective upon acceptance;
- an inventory procedure has been developed when closing a pickup point: it is carried out within 24 hours using cameras, the owners of other pickup points can take part in it for a fee and pick up the goods for delivery at their point.
In March, there was a conflict between Wildberries and several managers of pickup points over fines. After that, the company took a number of measures to smooth relations with partners. It was also announced that online platforms were ready to sign new agreements on the principles of joint work with PVZ.
