Wildberries launched a program to subsidize partner pickup points

Marketplace Wildberries announced the launch of a program to subsidize entrepreneurs who open partner pick-up points (PIU). As part of the new program, the owners of partner outlets will receive bonuses in the form of an increased percentage of the pickup point turnover.

“The subsidy program will make it possible to quickly recoup the investments of entrepreneurs in opening a pick-up point, as well as provide residents of remote regions of our country with pick-up points within walking distance,” the Wildberries press service said. The most promising areas are Kamchatka (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yelizovo and Vilyuchinsk), Chukotka (Anadyr, Bilibino), Magadan region, as well as the Moscow region and St. Petersburg.

In the first month after the launch of the facilities, payments will amount to up to 3% of the pickup point turnover, in the second – up to 1.6%, in the third – up to 0.8%. Starting from the fourth month, the income of the pickup point owners will vary from 2 to 4% of the turnover. The amount of payments will depend on the location of the points of issue.

To date, Wildberries has opened more than 24.4 thousand own and partner pickup points. From January to July, the company’s pickup point turnover increased seven times. The total turnover of the company in the first half of the year amounted to 628.7 billion rubles.
