“Tasty – and that’s it” brought back McFlurry ice cream called “Ice de Luxe”

The network of fast food restaurants “Vkusno – and that’s it” returned to the McFlurry menu, which is now sold under the name “Ice de Luxe”, informs “RIA News”. Now ice cream is sold only with pineapple topping.
So far, such ice cream is available only in certain regions of Russia, but from the 29th, it will appear in all Vkusno — i Tochka restaurants, including the breakfast menu.
About new names for “McFlurry” and “Big Mac” became known August 15. The company applied for the trademark “Ice de Luxe” in the category of desserts and ice cream, as well as the trademarks “Beef Hit” and “Big Hit” in the category of sandwiches. The company noted that the difficulties with Big Mac arose due to the need to replace the original sauce with a similar one, which, using other ingredients, would not differ in taste. As for the appearance in the menu of an analogue of “McFlurry”, here the company will replace the patented technology – fluring, that is, “turning a spoon in ice cream.”
August 18 in the company “Tasty – and that’s it” reported about the reopening of 500 restaurants. The remaining outlets, of which there are several hundred more, are scheduled to open in September. In the future, the company noted, the restaurant chain will be increased to a thousand within a few years.
The American chain of fast food restaurants McDonald’s suspended the work of its establishments in Russia on March 14, after the start of a special military operation in Ukraine. In mid-May, the company announced that it was leaving the Russian market. The network was bought out by businessman Alexander Govor. McDonald’s reserved the option to buy the business back within 15 years.
On June 12, the first establishments under the new name “Tasty – and that’s it” opened in Moscow. The menu of the restaurant has remained the same, with the exception of a few items. On June 22, the first 12 establishments of the chain opened in St. Petersburg, and two more in the Leningrad Region.
