White House: Depleted uranium projectiles pose no radioactive threat

Depleted uranium shells do not pose a radioactive threat, said White House spokesman John Kirby.
“They do not pose a radioactive threat,” he said (quote according to RIA Novosti).
Kirby noted that the shells should help the Ukrainian army “be more effective on the battlefield.”
