White House denies Biden’s threats to Nord Stream

US President Joe Biden, when he announced that he would end the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, did not mean its destruction. This was stated by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

Earlier, former Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, after the news of the sabotage on the gas pipeline, wrote “Thank you, USA.” This circumstance allowed both Russia and a number of Western politicians to suspect Washington of being involved in sabotage on the gas pipeline. Russian officials quoted Biden as threatening to end the pipeline.
