Where to relax for 50 thousand rubles: experts evaluated the options

The Russians told how much they are willing to spend on holidays abroad

35% of Russians are ready to allocate up to 50 thousand rubles for holidays abroad. This became known from the results of a survey of the travel service “Tutu.ru”. A third of respondents are ready to spend even less on holidays within Russia – up to 10 thousand rubles. The experts told MK where exactly you can go for that kind of money and how the demand for trips to other countries will change in the future.

In July-August, given the limited transportation, the average check for a week for two on vacation in Turkey is 150-250 thousand rubles. These are options with flights, transfers, meals. The price tag is large only because of the high cost of the flight. A trip to a Turkish luxury hotel will cost at least 400 thousand rubles. A tour to Egypt for two for a week can be picked up for 120-140 thousand rubles for two. The average check for two in the UAE is 350 thousand rubles. It turns out that in these countries now it will not be possible to find a tour per person for 50 thousand rubles.

But there are other foreign destinations as well. For example, Armenia, Georgia, Uzbekistan. There you can relax cheaper.

According to experts from the tourism industry, 50 thousand rubles per person is only the preferences, wishes of the Russians, and the real average check is much higher than this amount.

There are practically no countries where you can relax for 50 thousand rubles per person, says Galina Dekhtyar, professor at the Department of Management and Service of the RANEPA, tourism expert. Recall that at the end of June, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) calculated the cost of a trip for a family of two to Turkey. So, for a couple from Moscow, rest in the resorts of Antalya, according to the estimates of the association, will cost 200-230 thousand rubles.

“50 thousand rubles is unrealistic money. Tours to Turkey, Egypt will cost more. You can go to Abkhazia for this money, but it is unlikely that you will be able to get tickets to Sochi, ”she notes.
