One of the main advantages of the autumn season is the variability of the wardrobe. It’s time to change light fabrics, T-shirts and shorts to knitwear, dresses and outerwear. We look at several key women’s trends that will move from the catwalks to the streets.

Casual style

There are trends, and then there are immortal classics. This season, these two concepts met on the catwalk. Many designers (for example, Gucci) in their shows focused on win-win combos: button-down shirt, jacket or blazer, trousers or basic jeans. The very same smart casual, appropriate both in the office and at an informal event.

Red

Every season has a color – and we’re not talking about landscapes now. Barbie pink dominated this summer, but with the arrival of cold weather it loses its relevance. The key color of the autumn-winter season is deep red. A dress, coat or even lipstick of this shade will be a sure-fire solution. The main thing is to choose your tone.

Black coat

A huge black coat is perhaps the main investment of this season. It is so versatile, suitable for going to the theater or for a walk to the nearest store paired with an oversized hoodie and leggings. It is not necessary to fit it – on the contrary, an oversized silhouette will give the image more voice.

Waist

Despite the sizelessness of a black coat, you should not forget about fitted items. Some designers (Ermanno Scervino, Versace) presented items with an accent waist as a throwback to the 1980s, while others (for example, Schiaparelli) created an accent with the help of accessories. It looks like the defined waist is making a comeback after a long era of oversized looks.

metallic

For those who are not used to settling for gray, black and brown shades during the fall season, there is good news. This year, the catwalks paid special attention to metallics. Whether it’s a sequined dress, an eco-friendly fur coat with a metallic sheen, or a sparkly top, metallics are coming back in every form this year. Are we starting to prepare for the winter party season?

Shoulders

Another popular silhouette this season is bare shoulders. For city streets, this trend is good only for the first couple of months of autumn, however, evening dresses are not needed for walking along the sidewalks. A party with a black tie dress code, a trip to the opera or theater, dinner in a pleasant restaurant. In the fall (and winter) there are always plenty of reasons to wear something especially nice.
