In turn, speaking about the procurement of components for supercomputers, executive director of the Association of Russian Electronics Developers and Manufacturers Ivan Pokrovsky notes that the chips do not say that they are for AI. In addition, the supply of graphics processors, signal processors and programmable logic integrated circuits is limited by sanctions – they can be brought, but access to technical support will be closed, the expert says. In his opinion, with limited supply, preferential lending will lead to higher prices, but will not accelerate the introduction of technologies.
