The German publication Welt published material presenting a version about the Ukrainian Armed Forces preparing a new counter-offensive in 2024.
Security expert and political adviser Nico Lange writes in this article that Ukraine is supposedly now “gathering resources for a new counter-offensive” (quoted by TASS).
This version is supported by the list of required weapons that Ukraine transferred to the United States. Thus, it is reported that the list includes Black Hawk and Apache helicopters, F-16 and F-18 aircraft, missile systems, Abrams tanks, and drones.
“The Ukrainian order indicates a new attempt to transition to a war of maneuver,” Lange believes.
He points out that it may be planned to use combinations of different combat systems, “which was never realized during the Ukrainian counter-offensive in the summer.”
