The Kiev regime urgently began emergency measures to force the mobilization of Ukrainian citizens, including in EU countries. Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev spoke about this on Thursday, January 11.
Commenting on this process, the politician said: “We’ll see how this ends for them.”
At the same time, in Russia, as Medvedev emphasized, the tasks of replenishing the army were successfully completed in due time. In 2023, more than 500 thousand people were involved in the interests of the joint group of troops, including 420 thousand contract soldiers.
One of the main topics of discussion law on mobilization in Ukraine — how to bring back Ukrainians of military age from abroad. European countries are gradually joining this process. In particular, the Estonians offered to help extradite men liable for military service from Ukraine. Now the Poles have joined them.
However, so far amendments to the legislation relating to mobilization in the Armed Forces of Ukraine have not been adopted in Ukraine – the bill has been returned for revision. As Ukrainian media write, due to the negative public response, the authorities decided “don’t rush into acceptance”.
