Weekly deflation in Russia remains at 0.03%

Weekly deflation in Russia from 13 to 19 September hasn’t changed compared with previous indicators and amounted to 0.03%, follows from data Rosstat. Since the beginning of the year, consumer prices have risen by 10.23%.

Among food products prices for buckwheat – by 1.3%, granulated sugar – by 1.2%, chicken meat and black tea – by 0.4%, semi-smoked sausages and table salt – by 0.3%, pork, sour cream, cottage cheese, dry milk formulas for baby food – by 0.2%, sunflower oil and pasta – by 0.1%.

Prices for canned meat for baby food increased by 0.9%, chicken eggs – by 0.7%, boiled sausages – by 0.5%, frozen fish – by 0.4%, pasteurized milk – by 0.3% , sausages, butter – by 0.2%, sterilized milk, bread, vodka – by 0.1%. The decrease in prices for fruits and vegetables averaged 0.1%.

Among medicines increased prices for ergoferon – by 1.2%, levomekol – by 0.7%, multivitamins and allohol – by 0.5%, corvalol – by 0.4%, domestic analgin, nimesulide, validol and rengalin – by 0.3 %.

From non-food essentials toilet soap, sanitary pads – by 0.3%, toilet paper, toothbrushes, dry pet food – by 0.2%, laundry soap – by 0.1%. Decreased prices for toothpastes – by 0.3%, baby diapers – by 0.2%, washing powders – by 0.1%.

Among consumer goods increased prices for filter cigarettes – by 0.2%, shampoos – by 0.1%. Prices for smartphones decreased by 0.4%.

Prices for motor gasoline and diesel fuel increased by 0.1%.
