Briefly about the plot: the action of the series takes place in England, where we observe the ups and downs of the fictional AFC Richmond football team, which begin with the arrival of an American coach, in whose country they play, as you know, a completely different football, and therefore the situations in which he finds himself , from the very beginning are doomed to comedy and success with the audience. Add here a few love lines, the spiritual search of the protagonist, psychotherapy sessions, thoughtful images of the characters and we get the perfect recipe for a series in order to relax and switch.

The heroes of Ted Lasso not only score goals, but also feel good in terms of style. Ted Lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis, is the epitome of preppy style reimagined in a sporty way: light-colored chinos, soft jumpers, shirts, baseball caps – everything is comfortable, neat and quite neutral. Actually, this is what the person he plays usually looks like – a classic football coach. The players are also recognizable – some wear comfortable no-name things, some focus on designer brands, that is, everything is like in real life.

One of the most notable and new characters for the show was the image of Zava, the football god played by Maximilian Osinski, who embodied the features of Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. When he first appears in the series, he enters the stadium and immediately attracts the attention of both the fans in the stands and the players on the field. Jackie Levy, Ted Lasso’s costume designer, said that when creating his wardrobe, she used not only real sources of inspiration, but also “an incredible amount of Versace.” “We tried to find a middle ground where he was stylish, but there was a slight bad taste in him,” Levy describes him.

Among the female characters, the evolution of Kili (played by Juno Temple) is interesting: now she leads her own event agency, she is bold, sexy, feminine. She dresses accordingly – from the style of “chava”, the classic wife of a football player, she smoothly moved on to more strict, but no less bright outfits. Fendi dresses, animal prints, fur jackets, bright headbands, high pony tails, noticeable makeup and manicures – everything remains, but her character has changed, she has matured, become wiser – and this is also one of the lines of the series, which at times speaks to us completely not about football.

Rebecca Welton, club owner played by Hannah Waddingham, wears a wardrobe of power: bright, clean colors, jackets, fitted dresses, high heels, both at work and at play. She loves showy jewelry, designer bags and jewelry. In the third season, this seemingly iron lady tries to find out her fate from a fortune teller, but does not receive a clear answer. However, among the fans of the series there are already several theories – for example, the most popular of them is that Ted and Rebecca will become a couple. However, until we get to the finale, it is premature to make final predictions – it looks like there will be many more surprises, both in terms of the development of storylines and in the dynamics of character style.
