Washington agreed to sell Tomahawk cruise missiles to Japan

The US administration has approved the sale of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Japan, RIA Novosti reports citing a statement by the US Defense Cooperation Agency.
Reportedly, we are talking about the sale of up to 400 sea-based missiles, which will cost Japan about $2.35 billion. It is specified that it is planned to sell 200 Tomahawk Block IV and Tomahawk Block V missiles each. The deal will also include 14 TTWCS control systems.
The deal currently needs to be approved by the US Congress.
