Aleksandar Vučić will step down as head of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party. About this he informed journalists.
“In a few days, I will no longer be the chairman of a political party,” Vučić said.
Vucic will announce his resignation at the congress of the Serbian Progressive Party, which will be held on May 26 and, according to the President of Serbia, will be the largest in the history of the country. At the congress, “important decisions for the party and the country” will be made.
At the same time, Vučić noted that he was not going to dismiss the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Bratislav Gašić – such demands were put forward by the opposition parties in Serbia.
