Serbian President announced “big gifts” to Ukraine from the West by the end of 2023
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said that the lack of clear prospects for Ukraine’s membership in NATO does not mean the members of the alliance refuse to support Kyiv. According to the Serbian leader, by the end of the year, the West is preparing some significant assistance for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“They are preparing serious and wonderful things for Ukraine,” Vucic said (quoted by TASS). “Big gifts by the end of the year.”
He added that the bulk of the “gifts” will come from the EU. At the same time, the politician did not disclose the essence of the assistance that he announced.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, as part of the Vilnius summit, said that an invitation to Ukraine would be sent after the approval of all allies and the fulfillment by Kiev of the conditions set, including the modernization of security institutions.
