Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, commenting at a meeting of the Serbian Progressive Party on recent conversations about the possibility of sending NATO troops to Ukraine, said that such a development of events only seems unthinkable, but it should not be ruled out.
The politician recalled that there have already been “unthinkable milestones” in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. As an example, he cited the supply of NATO weapons to Kyiv, including tanks and aircraft.
“There is talk about Western troops in Ukraine. Some say that this will not happen, but it will happen… When Western tanks and aircraft for the Ukrainian Armed Forces were first mentioned, many said that this would never happen, but it happened. So the situation will be worsen,” Vucic said.
