VTsIOM: 78.7% of Russians trust Putin

Last week, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s approval rating stood at 75%, up 1.3 percentage points in seven days. At the same time, 78.7% of Russians (+0.7 p.p.) declared their trust in the head of state, should from the results of the VTsIOM survey. In total, 1,600 respondents over 18 years of age took part in the study.

It is noted that from November 14 to November 20, the work of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin was positively assessed by 52.8%. This figure grew by 0.6 percentage points over the week. At the same time, a little less than half of Russians are satisfied with the activities of the Russian government – 49.1% (+0.1 percentage points).

In terms of trust, Putin is followed by Mishustin. His approval rating stood at 62% last week, up 0.7 p.p.

In addition, among the inhabitants of the Russian Federation, support for the United Russia faction has grown. From November 14 to November 20, the indicator was 38.8%, adding 0.3 percentage points for the week. The top three also included the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (10.7%) and the Liberal Democratic Party (8.9%).

A week earlier, VTsIOM fixed a decrease in the level of Russians’ confidence in the country’s president. From November 7 to November 13, it decreased by 1.5 percentage points and amounted to 78%. At the same time, 73.7% of respondents approved of Putin’s work. This indicator also decreased by 2.1 percentage points over the week.
