Speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin said that large assets belonging to Western states could be confiscated in Russia. According to him, this will be a response to the unfriendly actions of the West.
In his Telegram channel, Volodin wrote that European politicians “have again started talking about the theft of our country’s frozen funds.”
“In order to continue the militarization of Kiev at their expense,” he explained. According to Volodin, “such a decision will require a symmetrical response from the Russian Federation,” and in this case, foreign assets of a much larger volume will be confiscated.
