Voenkor Rudenko predicted Russia’s return to Kherson “from the other side”

VGTRK reporter Andrey Rudenko told in an interview with RT about the reasons for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Kherson.
According to him, this maneuver will make it possible to pin down a large grouping of Ukrainian troops in this direction.
“During the withdrawal of our forces and means between us and the enemy – the Dnieper River, the bridges were blown up. Under these circumstances, it is unrealistic for them to attack, but this grouping cannot move away from Kherson either. During the Great Patriotic War, forcing the Dnieper River cost us 1.2 million lives , with the current supply of UAVs, modern MLRS and other types of artillery, the enemy will lose no less when trying to attack,” the journalist recalled.
He expressed the opinion that a further attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction is tantamount to death. At the same time, the preservation of the Russian group in Kherson is also a loss of people.
“The decision to withdraw our guys from the blow is the only true and tactically correct one. Quite large enemy forces will remain behind the river, while they will be pinned down. They will have to keep military formations idle when they could be used in other directions,” Rudenko said, adding that the Russian Armed Forces would still return to Kherson, “but from the other side.”
