Vnukovo Airport has resumed normal operations – Kommersant

The flight restrictions that were introduced on the night of October 7 were lifted at 05:15. This was reported by the airport press service.
“For reasons beyond the airport’s control, temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were introduced at Vnukovo from 04:26. From 05:15 hours, flight restrictions are lifted. Vnukovo International Airport is operating as normal,” the air harbor reported (quoted from TASS).
Previously, Moscow airports Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo temporarily did not accept or release aircraft. More than 20 flights were delayed or cancelled. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported about a downed drone in the Istra urban district.
