He noted that four plants for the production of building materials have been launched in the republic on the basis of the Kazbek technopark, and construction of a new airport terminal in Grozny has begun.

Unemployment in the republic is now less than 8%, Kadyrov said. According to him, it grew a lot during the pandemic, but now it has decreased.

Kadyrov also called Chechnya a leader in revaccination against coronavirus, flu vaccination and medical examination. “The republic again took first place in the ranking for the absence of bad habits and the growth of demographics,” Kadyrov said. He added that Grozny took first place in the all-Russian competition “Best Municipal Practice” and first place in the “Index and Quality of the Urban Environment” rating.

He stated that “fighters of the Chechen Republic” are serving in the special operation zone, “and the inhabitants of the region fully support the conduct of a special military operation and consider it necessary to achieve its goals and objectives.” Putin told Kadyrov to convey “the very best words to them”: “Thank you very much.”
