“Vkusno – and that’s it” applied for registration in Kazakhstan

The Russian network Vkusno-i Tochka has filed an application for trademark registration in Kazakhstan, the country’s Ministry of Justice reported. A week ago, the network informed, which does not intend to launch in Kazakhstan. In early January, the McDonald’s brand left the republic.

“The expert organization is considering applications for registration of trademarks containing the verbal designations “Tasty – and the point”, filed on behalf of Sistema PBO LLC,” the Kazakh Ministry of Justice said (quoted by TASS). They clarified that so far the trademark of the network has not been registered in the state register of trademarks of the republic.

Country authorities explained the closure of McDonald’s because the company had problems after the sale of the Russian business. January 9, representative of “Tasty – and that’s it” spokethat the network does not plan to enter the market of Kazakhstan.
