Video of an allegedly British Challenger 2 tank in Zaporizhia filmed in Estonia

The video of the allegedly British Challenger 2 tank in Zaporozhye, which Ukrainian and a number of Russian channels today massively passed off as fresh, was most likely filmed during exercises in Estonia, Boris Rozhin, an expert at the Center for Military-Political Journalism, reports.
In his Telegram channel, he noted that the Challenger 2 tank from the video has the registration number DR78AA – tanks of the British Army deployed in Estonia have similar numbers.
In total, the NATO battle group in this country uses 30 Challenger 2 tanks, among which a vehicle with an almost identical number was seen – DR79AA. The crew of this tank participated in the December exercises of NATO forces in Estonia in 2021.
Presumably, the tank in the video belongs to one of the units of the 5th Rifle Battalion of the Royal Hussars of Great Britain.
“According to the rules, when transferring to Ukraine, all registration and tactical numbers from the battle tank should have been removed, however, in the frame there is a vehicle that is clearly registered with the British armed forces. It is noteworthy that also in the video next to the passing tank are soldiers with characteristic helmets , because of which it is almost impossible to confuse British infantrymen with any others,” the expert noted.
