Vice Speaker of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov (LDPR) believes that in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics it is necessary to demobilize teachers of higher educational institutions. He took the initiative after President Vladimir Putin ordered the demobilization of students from the DNR and LNR.
“I consider it right to propose the demobilization of university teachers, candidates and doctors of sciences from the LNR and the DNR,” said Mr. Chernyshov “RIA News”.
Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov previously reminded that the forces of the people’s militia of the DPR and LPR are integrated into the Russian army. Therefore, the head of state instructed demobilize students who were called up before the republics joined the Russian Federation, and organize their return to the place of study.
Mobilization in the Russian Federation was carried out from September 21 to October 28. Students who receive education for the first time received a deferment from the draft. At the end of October, the State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education requested that scientists and teachers with academic degrees be exempted from mobilization.
