VCIOM: the level of approval of Putin’s activities is 77.2%

The level of approval of the activities of Russian President Vladimir Putin by Russians decreased from 17 to 23 April compared to the figure a week earlier by 0.3 percentage points, to 77.2%. About it testify results of the VTsIOM poll. The study involved 1,600 people across Russia over the age of 18.

At the same time, trust in the head of state remained at the same level – 80.1%. The level of confidence in the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin over the past week decreased by 0.3 percentage points, to 63%.

Mishustin’s activities are approved by 54.3% of respondents (-0.5 p.p. per week). At the same time, more Russians began to support the work of the Russian government. Over the past week, the indicator rose to 52.5% (by 0.7 percentage points).

The level of trust in most faction leaders has dropped. Chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov is trusted by 33% of respondents (-0.5 percentage points), and the head of the “Fair Russia – For Truth” (SRZP) Sergei Mironov – 30.5% (-0.2 percentage points). The confidence of respondents in the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, Leonid Slutsky, dropped sharply after rising a week earlier to 15.2% (-2.5 p.p.). At the same time, over the past week, more Russians began to trust the chairman of the New People party, Alexei Nechaev, — 7.8% (+1.1 percentage points over the week).

In the event of elections to the State Duma next Sunday, the majority of Russians would vote for United Russia – 37.6%. At the same time, support fell by 1.4 percentage points over the week, VTsIOM notes. The rest of the factions managed to attract new supporters. If the elections were held next weekend, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation would be ready to support 10.7% (+0.5 percentage points) of those polled, the Liberal Democratic Party – 9.5% (+0.2 percentage points), SRHR – 5, 7% (+0.2 p.p.), and New People — 4.6% (+0.3 p.p.).
