Valentina Matvienko announced the need to change legislation after Putin’s message

Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko said that after the president’s message to the Federal Assembly, legislation needs to be changed. According to her, the Federation Council is ready for such work. Ms. Matviyenko also said that the state has finances to implement the president’s proposals.

“What is very important, I was convinced of this by talking with the chairman of the government, it (message.— ”b”) is financially calculated, all financial resources for the implementation of the proposals that were made by the president are available and will certainly be implemented, ”said the speaker of the Federation Council (quoted by TASS).

Today, February 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a traditional address to the Federal Assembly at Gostiny Dvor. During the appeal, the head of state put forward several proposals to change the legislation.

In particular, the President proposed the creation of a state fund that would provide assistance to the families of the dead and wounded participants in the military operation, launch a program of preferential rental housing for military-industrial complex workers, mitigate some economic articles of the Criminal Code, and increase the tax deduction for children’s education, their own education and treatment.
