Last December, the head of Gazprom, Alexey Miller, said that supplies to Uzbekistan were doubled compared to the values ​​​​specified in the contract. According to him, the country received “the maximum technically possible volume of gas that can be supplied through the gas pipeline.” In November of the same year, Mr. Miller stated that Gazprom was planning to sign gas supply and transit agreements with Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan for 15 years by mid-2024.
