US presidential candidate accused Johnson of disrupting peace talks on Ukraine

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson thwarted a peace deal between Russia and Ukraine last year on instructions from Washington to keep the conflict going. About it declared U.S. presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. in an interview with NBC5.

“As we now know, the Russians signed a peace agreement with Zelensky in April 2022. But the White House used Boris Johnson to go and sabotage that agreement. We could resolve the conflict, prevent it,” Kennedy said.

According to him, the result of the war was the death of 350,000 Ukrainians on the battlefield. “This dependence on perpetual wars, which has become a significant part of President Biden’s career, is something the US should get away from. We have spent $8 trillion on useless wars since 2001 and that money has been taken from the pocket of the middle class,” he said.

Kennedy added that if elected to the presidency of the United States, he intends to enter into negotiations and achieve an end to the conflict. At the same time, he did not answer the question whether he would order to stop providing military assistance to Ukraine or not.
